General Sales Conditions

The present conditions of sale are concluded on the one hand by the company AËLA, S.A.R.L whose head office is located at 23 rue du Cèdre, 81800 Coufouleux, registered with the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés d’Albi, under the number 949898670 hereafter referred to as “Aëla” and managing the website and, on the other hand, by any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase via the website hereafter referred to as “the buyer”.
Article 1. Purpose
The purpose of these terms and conditions of sale is to define the contractual relationship between Aëla and the buyer and the conditions applicable to all purchases made through the website. The acquisition of a product through the present site implies the buyer’s unreserved acceptance of the present conditions of sale, which the buyer acknowledges having read prior to ordering. Prior to any transaction, the buyer declares on the one hand that the purchase of products on the website is not directly related to his/her professional activity and is limited to strictly personal use, and on the other hand that he/she has full legal capacity, enabling him/her to commit to the present terms and conditions of sale.
Aëla reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions of sale at any time, in order to comply with any new regulations or in order to improve the use of its site. Consequently, the applicable conditions will be those in force at the date of the buyer’s order.
Article 2. Products
The products offered are those shown on Aëla’s website, while stocks last. Aëla reserves the right to modify the product range at any time. Each product is presented on the website in the form of a description of its main technical characteristics (volumizer, wig, hair type, length, color, density). The photographs are as faithful as possible to the models, but are not binding on the seller. Slight variations may occur between models of the same reference over the months or years. In this case, the photos are used for the new model of the same reference. The sale of products presented on the website is intended for all buyers residing in countries that fully authorize the entry of these products into their territory.
Article 3. Prices
The prices shown on the product descriptions in the internet catalog are in Euros (€) and include all taxes.Aëla reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood however that the price appearing in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the buyer. The prices indicated include delivery charges.Outside the European Union and French overseas departments and territories, prices are invoiced exclusive of VAT. It is the customer’s responsibility to find out about and pay any other taxes applicable in the destination country (customs duties, sea taxes, etc.) in accordance with Incoterm DAP (Delivered at place).Postage for volumizers and wigs is free worldwide.
Article 4.Order and payment terms
Before placing an order, the buyer must create an account on the website.The account creation section can be accessed directly from the side menu bar.Each time you visit the site, if you wish to place an order or consult your account (order status, profile, etc.), you must identify yourself using your personal information and login. Aëla assumes no responsibility for the use of personal identifiers by third parties.
The company Aëla offers the buyer to order and pay for its products in several stages, with 2 payment options to choose from:
Secure payment by credit card: the buyer selects the products they wish to order in the “shopping basket”, modifies it if necessary (quantities, references…), checks the delivery address or enters a new one. Next, the shipping costs are calculated and submitted to the buyer, along with the name of the shipping service (DHL).The buyer then selects the credit card payment method.The next step is to check all the information, read and accept the present terms and conditions of sale by ticking the appropriate box, and then confirm the order by clicking on the “Confirm my order” button.Finally, the buyer is redirected to the secure interface, where he/she can enter his/her personal credit card details.If the payment is accepted, the order is recorded and the contract definitively formed. Payment by credit card is irrevocable.In the event of fraudulent use of the card, the purchaser may demand cancellation of the card payment, in which case the sums paid will be credited back or refunded. The cardholder is not liable if the disputed payment has been proven to have been made fraudulently, at a distance, without physical use of the card.
To obtain reimbursement of the fraudulent debit and any bank charges that may have been incurred, the cardholder must contest the debit in writing to his or her bank within 70 days of the transaction, or 120 days if provided for in the contract with the bank. The amounts debited will be reimbursed by the bank within one month of receipt of the cardholder’s written objection.The cardholder will not be charged for the return of the sums.
The buyer may also pay by bank transfer to the RIB of the company Aëla, which will be communicated by email, or via Paypal.
Online payment is made via UP2PAY and can be made in instalments via Paypal (payment in 4 instalments free of charge).
Confirmation of an order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale, acknowledgement of full knowledge thereof, and waiver of the right to invoke one’s own terms and conditions of purchase.All data supplied and the recorded confirmation shall constitute proof of the transaction.If the purchaser has an e-mail address and has provided it on the order form, Aëla will send confirmation of the order by e-mail.

Article 5. Retention of title
Aëla retains full and complete ownership of the products sold until full payment has been received, in principal, costs and taxes included.Article 6.Withdrawal
In accordance with article L121-20 of the French Consumer Code, in the European Union, the purchaser has a period of fourteen working days from delivery of the order to exercise his right of withdrawal and return the product to the seller for reimbursement without penalty, with the exception of the cost of return by Colissimo with delivery against signature or any other delivery system. Delivery against signature is strongly recommended to avoid possible loss of the parcel.In the event of withdrawal, the customer must be able to provide proof of return of the parcel if necessary.
Cancellation requests must be sent to or via the website’s returns form. Requests for retraction must not be sent via private messages on social networks (Facebook or Instagram). The returns form is available in the contact section of the site, after logging in to your customer account.
The product must then be returned in the same condition in which it was sent, in its original, undamaged packaging. Refunds will only be made if the product has not been washed, curled, cut, disheveled or damaged. The product’s parting must be positioned in the center. The product will be carefully inspected before refund. The lace part of lace wigs must not have been cut.If the product requires a new shampoo (application of serum or other on the hair), a penalty of 40 euros will be applied to the refund. If the product is returned with a clip cut or torn off, a penalty of 20 euros per clip will be applied.The outer packaging must not be damaged, or a penalty of 10 euros will be applied.
In the event of an order for a product outside the European Union, the buyer will also receive a full refund if the product is returned. The buyer has 5 working days to notify the company of his or her withdrawal. They must also return the product via the carrier of their choice within 5 working days. The customer must be able to provide proof of return if necessary.
Credit card charges and other additional costs (e.g. customs duties) are not refundable. In the event of the return of a product sent outside the EU, the customer must ensure that the return formalities do not involve customs clearance costs for the seller, as this is not an import but a product return.
You must declare “Product returned to retailer”. In the event of customer error, customs clearance costs will be deducted from the refund.
Custom orders are payable in advance and are non-refundable.As indicated in the product descriptions, production lead times can be long (around 3 months, sometimes even longer). Any delay in receiving the product will not be grounds for reimbursement.
Article 7. Delivery
Deliveries are made to the address indicated on the order form, which can only be within the agreed geographical area. Orders for hair volumizers and wigs are placed by DHL. Delivery times are given as an indication only; if they exceed thirty days from the order date, the sales contract may be cancelled and the purchaser reimbursed. Aëla may provide the buyer with a tracking number by e-mail. The buyer is delivered to his home by the DHL delivery man, or to a DHL relay point. The risks associated with transport are the responsibility of the buyer from the moment the items leave the premises of the company Aëla.
The purchaser is obliged to check the condition of the packaging and the contents of the goods on delivery, in the presence of the delivery person. In the event of damage in transit, any protest must be made to the carrier within three days of delivery. For deliveries outside mainland France, the purchaser undertakes to pay all taxes (customs duties, VAT, etc.) due under the laws of the country in which the order is received.
Article 8.Warranty
All products supplied by Aëla benefit from the legal guarantee provided by articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. In the event of non-conformity of a product sold, it may be returned to Aëla who will take it back, exchange it or refund it. All claims, requests for exchange or refund must be made by post to the following address: Aëla S.A.R.L, 23 rue du Cèdre, 81800 Coufouleux, within fourteen days of delivery.
Article 9. Liability
Aëla, in the distance selling process, is only bound by an obligation of means. It cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet network, such as loss of data, intrusion, virus, service interruption or other involuntary problems.
Article 10. Intellectual property rights
All elements of the Aëla site ( are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Aëla S.A.R.L. No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, or use for any purpose whatsoever, even partially, elements of the site whether in the form of photo, logo, visual or text.
Article 11. Personal data
The company Aëla undertakes to preserve the confidentiality of information provided by the purchaser, which he may be required to transmit for the use of certain services. All information concerning the purchaser is subject to the provisions of law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978. As such, Internet users have the right to access, modify and delete information concerning them. They may request this at any time by post to the following address:

Article 12. Settlement of disputes
The present conditions of distance selling are subject to French law. For all disputes or litigation, the competent court will be the Commercial Court of Toulouse.
