I’m Kristell, a lover of materials and colors, with a passion for fashion, for which I’ve worked for 25 years, first as a stylist, then as a production technician and finally as a buyer. I’ve now decided to change direction and offer my skills in the service of hair … for women, so that they can feel beautiful and fulfilled.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve never been lucky enough to have a mane to tame every morning, but very fine hair and very little of it…. And as the years went by, my hair became thinner in some places.
In 2020, the hair loss accelerated due to stress and hormonal changes… I discovered the existence of the word “alopecia” and started looking for simple, natural and beautiful solutions to make up for this lack of hair.
It was an obstacle course… yes, the subject is rather taboo in Europe, but the most important thing for me was to have more hair without making it look sickly, old or clownish…
It was at this point that I felt the desire and, above all, the need to put meaning into my work and, through my company Aëla, I decided to produce quality volumisers and wigs that would allow women to shine and rediscover their often lost femininity… and, above all, to accompany them on this journey, from the fear of other people’s gaze to self-love.
Aëla’s mission is to offer made-to-measure natural hair toppers and wigs and to help you meet your needs and desires: alopecia, fine hair with or without volume or simply the desire to change your head!
Through this blog, I’d like to share my experience with you and help you discover that alopecia can also mean beauty and lightness!
